Bible Book in a Sentence Sunday - Habakkuk

The last Bible book in a sentence Sunday was Romans. I like Mark's suggestion.

"Paul writes to the church in Rome that believing in the gospel of God's grace through Jesus = belonging to God's people for both Jew and Gentile."

This weeks challenge: Habakkuk

My suggestion;
Amidst the judgment of the unrighteous, the righteous shall live by faith.
Can you do better?

  1. Dunno about doing better, but:

    You're right, Hab, I AM too righteous to even look at wrong, so just wait and trust me; I will bring justice.

    Having said that, I reckon it's an insult to the book of Habakkuk to try to summarise it in a sentence.

  2. True, it is a compromise to summarise, but I guess that's the very nature of Bible book in a sentence Sunday!

  3. Hab said, "This sucks", God answered, "Trust me and live" - Hab vowed to trust no matter what, and in doing so thus won his joy.
