Blog-to-real-world crossover

On the weekend I had my first blog-to-real-world crossover. There were no eyepatches involved, thank goodness. Just a lovely conversation with Luke and his wife who are considering how they are best to serve Jesus in the future. Much more pleasant than most internet to real world crossovers which usually involve either a) someone stealing your credit card details or b) the long awaited first meeting reveals the picture your internet girlfriend emailed was overly flattering.

  1. Yeah, that Luke is a pretty top bloke.
    I also met him as a result of the internets.

    Perhaps one day I shall meet you in person too!

  2. Perhaps one day we'll meet too Zack... oh wait. I know you.

    I feel isolated from most of the blogosphere living in Townsville.

    One day I plan to go on a blogging road trip and I'm going to document my interactions with other bloggers on my blog.

  3. It was really nice to meet you too Izaac! Thanks for taking the time to chat.

    If you do a road trip Nathan, make sure to let us all know. It would be good to meet this side of heaven. Mainly because it will seem a little stupid to be talking about blogs together.

    @Ian - Stop, you're making me blush!

  4. I have a sudden urge to watch The Lion King.. "Can you feel the love tonight?"... come on, you know you want to... "It's enough to make kings and vagabonds, believe the very best."

    It's one big love in!

  5. I've met a bunch of people in RL that I met online first. They play a game called 'hattrick'. Had some good gospel conversations out of it, and the relationships are continuing.
