I've never read Pride and Prejudice. But apparently a modern take on the classic tome called Pride and Prejudice and Zombies has started its own genre.
And behold, the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom. And the earth shook, and the rocks were split. The tombs also were opened. And many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised, and coming out of the tombs after his resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many.
I remember first reading the passage as a new Christian and thinking it was pretty freaky! (http://www.afes.org.au/_magazine/view?magazine=91bc32d81577dfcc11df152e2e5b880d - for some reason I can't use html web links here)

I can sense the storyline coming together...
ReplyDeleteBy the way, every time I read that part of Matthew I get just as surprised. For some reason I keep forgetting that part of the crucifixion account.
