Allocated cinema seating

Am I the only one fiercely opposed to allocated cinema seating? It's not a premiere, the cinema is inevitably less than half full and if you care that much then arrive early.

  1. Aimee and I are with you bro. Allocated seats cause more troubles because some people don't read which seat they are in which means that the person sitting in that seat will come along, late as usual and ask them to move, which disrupts the whole cinema. First in best dressed!!!

  2. Sarah and I had this experience last year. We were the second group in the cinema and someone was in our seats so we sat elsewhere. Because you feel like a goose asking them to move when it's just a few of you. But then the cinema started filling up a little and for the next 25 minutes the repercussions of these first seat stealers was played out in front of us. Now some would argue that it works if everyone does the right thing; though I would counter with if the system didn't exist everyone would happily find a seat on their own. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
