I'm speaking for three weeks on Micah at a university lunchtime meeting during the next month. In response to 'the dreaded outlines and title email' I offered the following suggestions for talk titles.
Micah 1-2 The people versus God
Micah 3-5 King of the Mountain
Micah 6-7 A God Like No Other
They were rejected. Well, not really. But the theme for semester is 'Life' so it was politely requested that I attempt to get the theme of life in there somehow. Some quick word association later (life support, life saver, life coaching etc) I had ten or so new titles for them to choose from. It was an interesting balance to hold. The title had to be sufficiently related to the content of the talks, yet also vague enough that I could get by without really referring to it. Time will tell if this was successful. Here are their final selections;
Micah 1-2 The game of life
Micah 3-5 Life's not a beach, but a mountain
Micah 6-7 A life for a life
